It's the reservoir by Highway 6 - we do pass it every morning but it's not always full of water, and even if it is, we usually can't see much over the roadside barriers! But a couple of weekends ago we got up early, particularly to get some pictures, and stopped by the side of the highway in order to do so - the little ducky family was the first thing I saw. I'll post some more photos of that morning soon. K :)
Yes, please do post more. It's a beautiful scene and good on both of you for getting up early to capture it and sharing it with us. I think I might try to print it and put it on my wall because I really like it.

I especially love the ripple in the water that family is leaving behind them. and the light. so much.
