It's hot, damn' hot
With heat records set in 1980 being broken day after day, and 'heat advisories' in effect, and no rain for weeks, and crackly-dry grass underfoot, and the glare off the pavement feeling like a blast from a newly-opened oven, really the only thing to do is find somewhere cool, and damp, and comfortable, and move in for the duration.

Sweet :).....we are having our own heatwave over here, but i don't imagine it is anywhere near close to what you are experiencing! I was reminiscing over the snow days with my kiddies today....difficult to recall with current temperatures....thinking of you
